BAGUIO CITY

Baguio, the coolest city and  is known as the summer capital of the Philippines found  in northern Luzon. It is also called the “City of Pines” because of all the pine trees growing on the mountain slopes around the city. If you take a plane ride from Metro Manila, it only takes an hour before you to arrive in Baguio. For economical reasons, you can also ride a bus but it takes you not less than 5 hours upon arrival. Some people prefer to ride a bus for them to enjoy seeing the views as the road enters the mountainous regions.
Burnham Park is considered as one of  Baguio City’s premier park and it is the most popular park in town. The park features an artificial boating lake in the center and is located right in the middle of Baguio City, and is named after Daniel H Burnham, the American architect and town planner who laid out Baguio. Burnham Park has also an orchidarium, a rose garden, a terrace restaurant, a children’s playground, bicycle lanes, and areas for basketball and other sports. It has also many views for you to enjoy together with your family and friends.
