BATANGAS


    This Province in the Southwestern part of the Philippines is known as the most popular tourist destinations near Manila Philippines and at the Philippines. And why is it so? Of course because of Batangas Philippines famous beaches and resorts and diving spots, like Matabungkay, Anilao, Punta Fuegeo, Calatagan, and other famous tourist spots. Moreover, the famous Taal Volcano was also located at Batangas Philippines where most tourists flock to see the volcano. Taal volcano is the smallest active volcano known in the world and famous for its crater which has a lake in it. Its crater with lake is now called “Crater Lake” which most tourist love to look into. It is a volcano within a lake (Lake Taal) and the volcano itself has also a lake with its crater.

Batanes



  The province is home to the famous Ivatans who are nationally acclaimed as the "True Insulares". The Ivatans are of Malay stock, tracing their roots to early immigrants from Formosa, Taiwan as well as Spaniards who came to the island in the 16th century. Being an insular people, the Ivatans have kept the purity of their gene pool through time.

Sta. Cruz Island, Zamboanga

  The Little Sta. Cruz Island is only a few meters away from the Great Sta. Cruz Island, which is more popularly visited by tourists. There, I found neither castle nor talking fishes but my parents were right, the island had pink sand! I learned later on that this was a result of centuries of crushing and pulverizing of dead Red Organ-Pipe corals, which were found in the surrounding waters.

PHIL. EAGLE


The Philippine Eagle (Pithecophaga jefferyi) is a giant forest raptor endemic to the Philippines. It is considered one of the largest and most powerful eagles in the world. Unfortunately, it is also one of the world’s rarest and certainly among its most critical endangered vertebrate species. The eagle is known to be geographically restricted to the islands of Luzon, Samar, Leyte and Mindanao.

BALIKASAG ISLAND

  An island situated four kilometers sw of Duljo point of panglao reef. This island is sorrounded by a white sandy coralline beach and is fringed by a narrow reef shelf 9 to 49.5 meters wide. Top of the submarine cliffs are covered with coral while the lower levels are covered with sponges and gorgonians. A thriving fish sanctuary is found around the cliff. Marine life is abundant here like Jacks, Barracudas and mackerels. This Balicasag Island has a total of 25 hectares. 1.5 hectares of which has been developed into a resort.

SIQUIJOR


 Siquijor is the southernmost island in the Central Visayas Region and a province of the Philippines. Its capital is the same as municipality named Siquijor. The island can be found northwest of Cebu and Negros, northeast is Bohol and to the south, across the Bohol Sea is Mindanao.




BILIRAN,ISLAND

  Biliran Island is a province in Central Philippines which lies between Northern Leyte and Eastern Samar. It is surrounded on the north by the Samar Sea; on the east by Western Samar; on the west by Visayan Sea; and on the south by Carigara Bay. Biliran Island is a volcanic island with many of laid back resorts and beaches and has some beautiful good diving spots.

OLANGO ISLAND

    Olango Island is approximately located five kilometers east of Mactan Island in Cebu. It lies between the Bohol Strait to the south and the Camotes Sea to the north. To the east is the Olango Channel while to the west is the Hilutungan Channel. The island has seven barangays, one of which is Sta. Rosa (erroneously used to refer to the whole of Olango Island), where the island’s wharf and parish church is located.
    Olango Island is considered a nature and animal-friendly place. In fact, the island has a 920-hectare secluded wetland called the Olango Island Wildlife Sanctuary. It supports the largest concentration of migratory birds found so far in the country from September to November traveling the East Asian Migratory Flyway

PAGSANJAN FALLS

   The falls have grown into one of the famous tourist attractions in the Philippines. Pagsanjan falls is situated three miles outside of the town of Pagsanjan somewhere in the rugged highlands of Cavinti about 100 km SE of Manila located in the Laguna province near the town of Santa Cruz. Its site is a national territory under the supervision of the Parks and Wildlife Office of the Bureau of Forestry Development. The only passable route to it is the Bumbungan River of Pagsanjan. Before reaching Pagsanjan Falls, tourists or visitors have to ride these boats (bangka), manned by skilled Pagsanjeño boatmen (bankeros). Two young men are hired with the canoe which usually carries two passengers.

MT.APO,DAVAO


   Located 32 kilometers west of Davao City, and the provinces of Davao del Sur and North Cotabato; The 64,053.00 hectares Mount Apo Natural Park is dominated by the highest mountain in the Philippine archipelago at 2,954 m. Although, there is also Mt. Talomo appears to be an extinct volcano in the area, but Mt. Apo, though it is quiescent at this time, has numerous vents producing steam and sulphurous gases.
   Mount Apo is considered a favorite destination of extremist climbers because of its slopes forest of exotic flora, steaming geysers, rainwater lakes, swift-flowing rivers, and cascading waterfalls. The Department of Tourism Regional Office usually allows climb in around March or April.

MALL OF ASIA



If you love shopping, then you better head to one of the largest malls in the world: Mall of Asia!

As the name suggests, Mall of Asia is popular for its massive size. It boasts a floor area of 386, 224 square meters and is occupied by more than 600 shops and 150 dining establishments. CEBU



   Cebu, or the “Queen City of the South,” is definitely a great place to go to in the Philippines.

This region is a fantastic fusion of urban metro and rural province. Cebu is filled with breathtaking beaches colored by the clear blue sea and powdery sands. Enjoy yourself in its serene cool waters or you frolic in the sun while beholding the captivating horizon.
If you head to the city, you will be welcomed by skyscrapers, malls and hotels!

VIGAN,ILOCOS


    Vigan is one of the oldest town in the Philippines.If you are wondering what the Philippines looked like during the Spanish regime, then you should pack your bags and head to Vigan.

   Vigan is a World Heritage Site, renowned for a perfectly intact Spanish architecture. Experience what it was like to walk during the great times of Spanish era as the streets of Vigan are laid with cobblestones. The entire town is also fused with unique and elegant architectural designs.
There are also “calezas” or carriages that complete the experience.

PALAWAN



    Palawan province's 1,200 miles of sugary beaches wrapped around 1,780 pristine islands have attracted travelers since Chinese traders crossed now-sunken land bridges from Borneo. It said Palawan's rich ecosystem supports two United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization's World Heritage Sites, the coral-rich Tubbataha Reef Marine Park and Puerto-Princesa Subterranean River National Park, a limestone karst landscape with an underground tributary that emerges into the sea.

PUERTO GALERA


Puerto Galera is only three and a half hour away from Manila first by bus to the port at Batangas City and then by boat.
Tourists can also take the tourist service called the Sikat, from the City State Tower Hotel in Manila from the Batangas City port to Puerto Galera or Sabang Beach, Mindoro.It has beautiful tourist spots that is good for you and your family.

SULFUR SPRING, MARINDOQUE


   Sulfur Spring is situated in Malbog, Buenavista, Marinduque, beside the dormant volcano, Mt. Malindig. The Spring is composed of three different pools: the kiddie pool, the pool for the adult, and the pool where the sulfur spring can be found. From the spring, the water flows straight to the other pool. Sulfur, based on the traditional medicine, is believed that it can be used for medical skin treatment most especially for psoriasis, eczema, and acne. The mechanism is not yet 100% proven, although elemental sulfur acts as a mild reducing and antibacterial agent. And because of this, local residents and tourists, goes there to experience the soothing experience of the spring.
